Lions Convention in Ubobo

The District Lions Convention was held at the Boyne Valley Discovery Centre in Ubobo in late October, ladies from Yeppoon took advantage of the country hospitality at Follywood while attending the convention. They had a wonderful weekend in the country with the convention being haled as one of the best and the lovely High Tea afternoon put on by the CWA in the Hall provided entertainment for some of the guests while the local caterers Deception Creek Caterers provided a wonderful dinner at the Discovery Centre for all the Lions guests.
